My Ribbon Barrette Maker Review & 48 Hour Giveaway!

Hi mamas!  I was recently sent one of the new My Ribbon Barrette Makers for Natty to try out. After a little practice she has become a pro at making herself (and all of her friends and aunties) these retro 80's style barrettes.  C'mon, you remember making these back in school, right?

Well...along with all the other styles from the 1980's, these barrettes are making a huge come back among our school aged kiddos.  I have to admit, it brought back lots of fun memories while making them with Natty...except now it is WAY easier with the new Ribbon Barrette Maker

The set comes in these nifty bins with ribbons, barrettes and beads (which makes for a super cute gift idea!)

Nat was super excited about this and she still has piles of ribbon on the table separated for each barrette she is going to make for every friend and/or family member she knows.

After a little practice she was able to do most of it herself (she's only 3 and a half so older kids would probably not need much help at all).

She always loves new hair accessories, but she was even more thrilled that she made this all by herself. She has worn it every day for the past week!

This product really fits in to the wonderful products that I like to promote because, believe it or not, it was invented by a grandfather after his granddaughters were asking him to make friendship bracelets with them one day.  They took a while to make and he thought, as do most inventors, "There has to be a better way!"  Because he had invented some pretty amazing products in the past he was able to enlist the help of many engineers, graphic designers and web developers in Detroit that had recently found themselves unemployed.

The exciting part?!  Well, you have a chance to win one for that little girl in your life...and just in time for Christmas!

:::HOW TO ENTER:::  MYFBM are the makers of both the My Friendship Bracelet Maker and the My Ribbon Barrette Maker.   Please visit their site and decide which product you would like to win.  Tell us why in the comments and you're entered!  Easy peasy!  One winner will be chosen via Random.org on Wednesday, December 7th at 10:00am GMT.

:::ADDITIONAL ENTRIES:::  If you would like additional entries then feel free to do any of the following (or all of them!) and leave an additional comment below for EACH additional entry that you do.

I would LOVE to win the My Friendship Bracelet Maker for my daughter... She is such a crafty person, I know she would enjoy making everyone she knows a bracelet!
Thanks,
Tiffany Buchanan

As a very young child, I made barretts and bracelets with gimp. Today I maintain contact with several of these women. Many of them have grandchildren. I would love to send them one of these items for Christmas to establish a Christmas tradition with their grandchild by making a bracelet or barrett. I can still see our group of gals sitting on the hill making our prized possessions. We wore them forever . . . Thank you the opportunity to make a memory.

I actually would say the Barrette Maker is my choice for my stepdaughter. :) She loves Hair Clips, is VERY creative with arts and crafts, and hates hair elastics--HAHA. She's always looking for new ways to create things she can wear too.

I would love to win the my friendship maker for my girls. They recently received their first bracelet from a friend and I think it would be so neat if they could start making their own.
